(University of Copenhagen The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences) A novel structure of a so-called ‘neurotransmitter: sodium symporter’ has been mapped at the University of Copenhagen. The discovery adds to the researchers’ knowledge of neurotransmitters in the brain and may lead to better drugs for, for example, ADHD, depression and epilepsy.
