(Aarhus University) A generous grant from Innovation Fund Denmark will allow for the investigation of new composite materials as replacement for cast iron heat exchangers inside the massive engines of the world’s largest ships. The Department of Engineering at Aarhus University is heading the project called comMec in close collaboration with Danish company Vestas Aircoil.
